Lucy has earned a Bachelor's Degree from LaSalle University a Master Degree from Penn State University in Health Education and Promotion and a Master Degree from Drexel University where she received certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Advanced Doctoral studies at Robert Morris University. Lucy has practiced psychiatry since 1999 and practiced with Blue Mountain Psychiatry, LLC since 2016. She is licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. Lucy is an active member of Pennsylvania Coalition for Nurse Practitioners.

Through her work in psychiatry, Lucy has discovered a passion for treating addiction to drugs and alcohol. Lucy's treatment focus is dual diagnosis. Dual diagnosis or co occurring disorders, a mental disorder and a substance use disorder each requiring separate treatment plans. Lucy is a member of the American Society for Addiction Medicine (ASAM).
