Dr. Rifai is an American-Syrian physician executive and scientist and a world renowned researcher on the medical aspects of psychiatric illness. He is a recipient of the National Insitute of Mental Health Clinical Excellence Award in 2005 and the prestigious William Webb Award from the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine in 2006. Dr. Rifai is originally from Aleppo, Syria.
Dr. Rifai' National Research Service Award fellowship training in neuroscience was at the University of Tennessee, College of Medicine in Memphis. His residency training in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry Program was at the University of Virginia, School of Medicine. Dr. Rifai then completed further clinical fellowship training at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center and the National Institute of Mental Health in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Rifai is the American Psychiatric Association Janssen Scholar on Psychiatric and Medical Disorders, he is the William Webb Fellow of the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine
Suzette B. Reilly is the Clinical Director of Blue Mountain Psychiatry. She is a graduate of Immaculata University with a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has worked in academia at the graduate and undergraduate levels at numerous colleges and universities throughout PA and NJ. She has a history rich in being Nationally Certified Professional Psychologist through the NorthAmerican Association for Masters in Psychology (NAMP), Intensive Family Support Coordinator for 7 years in the state of NJ, Co-Chair of IFSS Professionals in NJ, Ombudsman for 6 years at a mental health facility resolving issues. Some of the coursework she has developed and provided to her students include: Developmental Child Psychology, Life-Span Psychology, Geriatric Psychology, Social Psychology, Drug Abuse and Alcohol Education, Behavior Modification, Abnormal Psychology, Psychopathology, Introduction to Psychology, Instructional Psychology, General Psychology, Art Therapy, and Dealing with Mental Illness: Psychoeducational Tools for Families and Professionals. Lucy has earned a Bachelor's Degree from LaSalle University a Master Degree from Penn State University in Health Education and Promotion and a Master Degree from Drexel University where she received certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Advanced Doctoral studies at Robert Morris University. Lucy has practiced psychiatry since 1999 and practiced with Blue Mountain Psychiatry, LLC since 2016. She is licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. Lucy is an active member of Pennsylvania Coalition for Nurse Practitioners.
Through her work in psychiatry, Lucy has discovered a passion for treating addiction to drugs and alcohol. Lucy's treatment focus is dual diagnosis. Dual diagnosis or co occurring disorders, a mental disorder and a substance use disorder each requiring separate treatment plans. Lucy is a member of the American Society for Addiction Medicine (ASAM).
Dr. Renee is a family and a psychiatric nurse practitioner practicing nursing for over 12 years. Her passion is providing holistic nursing and medical care thus incorporating homeopathic and spiritual aspects of healing in the science of nursing. Her present concentration is working in substance abuse and chemical dependency rehabilitation centers hence developing medical and nursing protocols to improve quality of nursing care amongst substance abusers. In her free time she enjoys traveling and looks forward to continuing her education in order to provide missionary medical services in other underserved countries
Eugene T. Lucas Jr. is a Doctoral prepared Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with experience in Nursing education, primary mental and physical health care in an outpatient ambulatory clinic, inpatient Psychiatric Unit for adults and children; chronic, long term geriatric settings; and acute Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation settings. As an Associate Professor at Wilkes University he is adept at problem analysis, and has the ability to develop programs and systems for efficient graduate and doctoral education. He exhibits excellent organizational skill and personal integrity while developing harmonious and productive interpersonal relationships with professional staff members, students, and other ancillary personnel. His previous awards include the 2017 American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Pennsylvania State Award for Excellence and the 2017 Volunteers In Medicine (VIM) Volunteer of the Year.
